I saw someone say it's bitter-- I didn't find it bitter, but this is a very delicate tea. While you can brew it at the typical 195 F just under boiling, I wouldn't brew it for the full 3-5 it suggests, not on the first use of the bag. You can even get away with a 175 I'd say with tea this fine. Don't just pour boiling water over it and leave it for several minutes, take the bag out and reuse it! I think it's a good tea, a little pricy, but I think you'll really enjoy it if you treat it gently, even if you're a total tea snob like me.
